The 2016 NYSUT Communication Awards results are in! Our website won FIRST PLACE as the Best Website in our class, R II. Our newsletter, Port of Call, won an Award of Merit. “IN APPRECIATION FOR JOE COPPOLA” won in the Best Writing 1 category. Congratulations to Mary Anne Cariello for her writing and for Erlyn Madonia as the editor! Your webmaster, Barbara Mayer, is pretty excited, too! Our PWRE website was honored in two categories in the 2015 NYSUT Communication Awards! We received an Award of Distinction in the "Best Overall Graphic Design" category and a second Award of Distinction in the "Most User-Friendly Website" category. Click here and look at pages 8 and 12.

 

Congratulations to Marilyn Gilbert and Mary Anne Cariello! They were first place winners in their categories in the 2013 NYSUT Journalism Contest.
